Can I use ScreenRepository for non-Window UI Items?

Jul 9, 2008 at 9:44 PM
My application has only one main window. However, it has a number of tab pages and each of them is basically an individual feature area. I would like to utilize the AppScreen class and ScreenRepository to manage them and build up the application's object model. Is this possible?

Not yet would be the short answer. In future yes (may be in 2-3 releases).
Till then you can use the pattern with whatever scattered support you can find for it in white.
Sorry to disappoint.

That's ok I will look forward to future versions.

For now I define them as CustomUIItems and have created an extension method GetCustom to substitute Get which can automatically fill in any property in the custom object just like how the ScreenRepository fills in properties for AppScreen subclasses.
