White test questions

Hi there,

I recently discovered this great testing tool and I can say I'm impressed.
Unfotrunately I still don't have enough exprience with it and a bunch of questions come to my mind.
Is it possible to set element's properties  in the particular white test itself? For example writing a test for a simple textbox: you want to set IsReadOnly property to false and then continue with the sequence of actions you need white to perform on your application. Can one achieve that with white?

I'm still a student and I'm preparing for my first job.

Thanks in advance,

White allows you to test an application as a user can. I think making a control readonly is not possible by the user or application but the programmer.
Thinking of white programs as automated users would probably make it clear what "should" be possible from white.
