Children of ListViewCell

I have a custom grid-like control that I would like to test using White but I have a problem accessing the children of my grid cells. I have no problem with getting my grid as Core.UIItems.ListView. All of the rows are available from the ListView.Rows and I can also access any cell of any row. Unfortunately I couldn't find a property or a method of the ListViewCell class that returns or searches for children. The automation peer for a cell has several child automation peers that I would like to access and perform operation on - I can see those children using UISpy.
Is there any way of finding those children using White?

Can I achive this functionality by inheriting from ListViewCell?

you would have to wait for release 0.17 for this.
