WHITE - Coded UI Design - Requirements Mapping

Jan 9, 2012 at 2:19 AM

I have been using white for quite sometime and have automated our application successfully. What we have not done is to map the manual test case to the automated test case. I would like to get the help of experts opinion on the below.

We have the manual test cases maintained in Quality Center, but it can be exported to the VS TFS 2010 as work items (test cases).

The automated tests are classes (Test Fixture) and methods [Test] as you all know. Is there a way where I can map the methods to work items in TFS ?

I've been playing around with the Coded UI & Test Manager and it has this manual - auto mapping feature. Has anyone done this in WHITE?

Hi

I must say, that we only have a mapping by name. There might be good tools support such cases but we don't use them.

So I don't can help here sorry.

Maybe you should search more global, there might be many general solutions, mapping code to other things.
