A problem using CostomCommands in TextBox

Jun 14, 2011 at 3:17 PM

I have a problem using CustomCommand that returns background color of a text box with Text property of TextBox. When I change the background color of TextBox and try to get the value of background before Text in an Assert, I get weird Text string. When I get the value of Text before background color, everything works just fine.

I pushed the sample project I created here that you can use to reproduce the error: https://github.com/abolourian/WhiteCustomCommands. Under Tests project there's a file named MyTextBoxtests.cs with only one test that has a comment where things go wrong. I appreciate your help.

Thanks

This is a bug. It is caused by myTextBox.Text call before button.Click(). The issue is that one you start using custom commands for a UIItem you cannot use non-custom commands on that control consistently. I have created an issue for it.
