White roadmap

Mar 17, 2011 at 2:36 PM

I want to start a new project. I am investigating for a test solution.

White seems interesting, but I found no roadmap. Is the project still alive? The last version has more than 10 months.

Thanks for your comments

I use it quite extensively on the O2 Platform project and it is a great API for Windows UIAutomation

I would like to know also when 0.21 version is slated for? Thank you, Will

I can only say that white is not dead, The leader here does this job alone, and has a real job too, so steps take time.

Yes, thank you very much for everything you have done!

I was just curious when Windows7 would be supported since we are using the White framework extensively in our Automation efforts and have a requirement that Windows7 is tested, so if you have any estimated roadmap at any time, let me know.

Thanks again,

I'm not the developer here :) only a user who uses White, and try to answer the questions if possible.

We use White with Windows7 x64 or x86, also Vista, XP and some Server Systems.

So you can use White under Windows 7

For x64 Systems take in mind that the test dll should be build in x86 and if you use Nunit take the nunit-x86 version, there is a known bug testing x64 Systems.
