White running in build server (without UI) problem

Mar 13, 2008 at 10:13 PM
Hi,

I'm using White for WPF acceptance testing. We have a build server running CruiseControl that runs all the acceptance test cases.
When I remote connect to the build server and force a new build, all my acceptance test pass, but whenever I close the session and there is no session connected, some of the tests fail:
  • The tests that fail are the ones that perform clicks (so they internally use the white's Mouse class to click it).
  • I believe the UI is being generated even if there is no session, because the tests that don't use the mouse but read some data from the UI are still passing.

Have you ever experienced this problem?

Thank you,

This is a known issue please read here Using with Continuous Integration.
Window doesn't have a headless mode yet.

Ok, thanks.
We realized that might have been the problem, so we workarounded it by opening the VM and making it "believe" that has an open session.
