Needs Bricks to allow me to debug further

Feb 14, 2008 at 3:58 PM
I've been playing about with White for a few days now and it looks very promising, excellent work. I've succesfully been able to automate the WPFTestApp and now I have moved onto the automation of other applications.

I've come across a problem whereby I can't automate a particular control, basically a simple button click that should work doesn't. In order for me to be able to step through the code to debug I need the source for the one dll that I haven't been able to locate via google: Bricks. Am I able to get the source for this anywhere so I can build the Bricks and Bricks.Framework dll's myself so that I am able to step through and debug?

I should have put a link to bricks. Sorry about that.

I am going to put this in the documentation.

What is Bricks?

It is a project which would bring you small tools/utilities which you need in a lot of .NET projects. It doesn't target any specific problem as such.

Thanks for the link, but when I folow the link I'm not able to download the source as I'm not a member of that group.

Is there any other way you could make the source for Bricks available so that I can get hold of a copy?

You can use anonymous access to get the code
See the instructions here

svn checkout

Ok I've got Bricks source and built so I can debug, there's one outstanding issue and thats with Castle.

I have got the source for Castle and when I build I can see that Castle.DynamicProxy.dll gets built but in the core white project the reference is for Castle.DynamicProxy2.dll

Where does Castle.DynamicProxy2.dll come from and how do I build it from the Castle source?
